DNZ AKLD Primary Workshop

Drama NZ Auckland Branch is excited to provide Teachers of Years 5-8 with a free Drama Workshop in Term 1, 2019.
‘The Marvels'
Based on Brian Selznick’s latest graphic novel, ‘The Marvels’ this workshop uses a wide range of practical strategies to physically, emotionally and cognitively engage students with text so that they think and act more critically and creatively. This workshop will be suitable for any teacher who wants to provide a rich sensory experience that will captivate and motivate students to want to read, write, speak and listen.
The strategies are non-threatening for teachers and students alike and are easily transferred to a wide range of learning contexts.

Our facilitator for this workshop is Chris Horne. Chris is a Drama specialist teacher, former Team Solutions Drama Advisor, Lecturer and national workshop presenter for primary and intermediate Drama.

Please contact Judy Norton, Drama NZ Primary Liaison to register your interest.
