DEVISING 101
Kick off your shoes, let your hair down and be prepared to get stuck in to a fun-filled day of exploring tried and tested devising techniques with Kate Parker. Kate is the co-creator of stunningly visual devised shows like MOA HUNTING, THE BUTCHER’S DAUGHTER and the hit of this year’s Sydney Festival – THE ARRIVAL. A graduate of the influential John Bolton Theatre School and an experienced director who has created devised works with primary, secondary and tertiary students, Kate has previously facilitated ATC Teacher’s workshops and sessions with the ATC Ambassadors. This workshop will offer you plenty of techniques to take back to school and inspire a creative year ahead.
Date: Friday 12 February
Time: 10am – 2.30pm
Venue: TAPAC, 100 Motions Road, Western Springs
Cost: $100 plus GST (Includes lunch and a ticket to a preview performance of LE SUD)
