Kerry Lynch’s Auckland Theatre Company Theatre Blog: Introduction
This year, thanks to the Royal Society Fellowship, I am able to focus on theatre design and technology. One of my first opportunities has been to observe the design and technical process for the Auckland Theatre Company’s (A.T.C.) production of ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’. This week see’s the production moving from the rehearsal space and into the Maidment theatre. Because of this I have decided to be a first time blogger and to compare the differences and perhaps similarities between the pack in/technical process for a professional production and a high school production.
